Facebook gets 'Geolocation'

Facebook gets 'Geolocation', now world's most popular social networking site 'Facebook' has added a new gadget called 'Geolocation'.Some time ago it was what are you doing? and now it what and where are you doing? Orkut, Google Buzz and Twitter got the idea for geolocation earlier but now Facebook is also one of those who has added geolocation to their sites. In facebook geolocation is known by facebook's given name i.e. 'Places'.This app can be used in a iPhone via touch.facebook.com if you have HTML5 and a geolocation capable phone and hopefully you should be in USA.The most interesting thing is that you can trace your friends always by tagging them. According to me this app is little bit useful.

Facebook

FACEBOOK
Facebook is a social networking site with approx 500 million active users in July 2010.It was launched on February 2004, so we can see that it has gained much popularity in a very short time of some years.
It was found by Mark Zuckerberg with some of his roommates and few computer science students of Harvard college of Boston. It gradually added support for students at various other universities before opening to high school students, and, finally, to anyone aged 13 and over. The original concept for Facebook was borrowed from a product produced by Zuckerberg's prep school Phillips Exeter Academy, which for decades published and distributed a printed manual of all students and faculty, unofficially called the "face book".
